DOG PURCHASE AGREEMENT
INCLUDING DETAILED BREEDING /NON-BREEDING CONTRACT

The above Golden Retriever puppy is sold as a pet.

As payment for said dog, buyer agrees to pay the Breeder the sum of $_______.
Payment is to be made in the form of cash. Payment in full is due before buyer takes possession of said dog.
A non-refundable deposit paid in (cash, cash app, or Venmo) of $300. Paid on __________________ to ensure reservation which will be applied to the purchase price. Final Payment Due $_________________for the sum of $_2000______.
The buyer understands that once deposits is made, it is a commitment to buy and a legally binding contract of said dog and is therefore** NON-REFUNDABLE **.
Breeder HEREBY AGREES BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER TERMS OR CONDITIONS WILL BE EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR ACCEPTED.

1. The Breeder agrees, to the best of their knowledge, that the dog purchased by the Buyer is free from any communicable diseases and is of sound body, stable temperament and is in good general health with first vaccinations and deworming.
2. The Buyer agrees to finish all puppy vaccines before taking their puppy out in public. Buyer understands that seller has instructed buyer not to take puppy to public places {including, but not limited parks, neighbors, pet supply stores, puppy classes/training. Etc.) Frequented by other puppies or dogs until the puppy has received its final rounds of shots (to be determined by a licensed veterinarian, usually 16 weeks of age). This is for the health of the puppy and to avoid contact with areas where infected or unvaccinated dogs may have been or may be present with such illnesses/bacterial/fungus causing parvovirus, giardia, clostridia, coccidian, etc. This is to protect the puppy and to save the puppy's life. Any illness contracted from the buyer's decision not to follow these guidelines leaves no responsibility to the breeder.
3. Breeder does NOT GUARANTEE against COCCIDIA or GIARDIA (typically dormant single celled parasites common in puppies) or for final adult weight, color, breeding ability, show potential or against overbites, underbites, patella issues, hernias, trachea issues or for undescended testicles. Seller agrees to notify buyer if they or the vet discover any of the above problems prior to sale. By initialing, you agree that you have read and understand what BREEDER does and does not guarantee for. ________ (initial)
4. The buyer will have 72hrs in which to have the puppy examined by their own veterinarian. If the puppy is found to be ill by a licensed veterinarian and is to be returned due to illness, a letter from a veterinarian is required. This includes death or illness from any health condition deemed to be present prior to leaving the seller’s premises. Buyer shall assume any expenses associated with returning the puppy to the seller. The seller will, at the seller's discretion, refund the purchase price. At no time and under no circumstances will the Breeder be responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer. The puppy has been examined by 8 weeks of age by seller's vet and all common puppy illnesses/issues have been addressed and preventative measures taken.
5. If the puppy was purchased with a NON-BREEDING CONTRACT, (which will be kept on file), The Buyer agrees it is their responsibility to arrange to have said dog spayed or neutered before 8 months of age. Buyer agrees to provide Breeder with a certificate from a competent veterinarian proving the surgery was completed. Failure to do so voids contract and breeder may take appropriate action.
6. Buyer agrees that if said dog does transfer ownership, they must notify breeder for approval before doing so and the non-breeding contract will be transferred to the new owner and must remain in effect.
7. Buyer agrees that it is their responsibility to familiarize themselves with the breed of said dogs and understand the nature of the breed. The buyer understands that the dog is not guaranteed to be hypoallergenic or no shedding; and no guarantee is made regarding size, weight, or coat types when grown.
8. Buyer acknowledges that said dogs' temperament may change with lack of proper training and discipline, or if dog is mishandled or abused.
9. Buyer agrees to provide proper nutritional requirements and to maintain a healthy lifestyle for said dog. Ensure dog lives a lifestyle that is suited to the breed.
Buyer releases Seller, Pennie Duke, West Coast Goldens, and their estate from any and all liabilities, And/or damages by fault of this dog after the time of sale. These damages include but are not limited to, destruction of property and / or physical damage to any person or group of people. This contract is made out in duplicate; the Seller and the Buyer each to receive one copy.
