This contract constitutes a legally binding agreement between West Coast Goldens LLC, Pennie Duke herein known as the seller,________________________ and _______________________________________________ herein known as the Buyer,

The consideration for this sale shall be the sum of $______________
Any deposit received will be applied to the total price of the dog, remaining balance must be paid in full before the dog is picked up or shipped.
The deposit insures the Buyer the delivery of a healthy sound puppy and that all vaccinations and worming are current.
Buyer agrees to have puppy examined by his/her veterinarian to confirmed good health within 5 days of accepting the puppy and must notify seller immediately if any questions of good health and soundness arises.
If the puppy is found to be unhealthy, it may be returned to the Seller, accompanied by a letter from the examining veterinarian within 48 hours of the examination at the Buyer's expense. The full purchase price will be refunded.
The Breeder shall not be responsible for any medical costs incurred to the puppy after it leaves the physical possession of the Breeder.
The Breeder shall not be responsible for the safety of the puppy after it leaves the possession of the Breeder and is not transit to the Buyer's place to residence, to include any and all incurred injuries as a result of transportation accidents or acts of negligence by another party.
Seller hereby guarantees that until 26 months of age that the puppy will be free from the following:
1. Genetically inheritable cataracts, PRA or other eye disorders so severe that they prohibit the puppy from living a normal, active life as a pet or companion.
2. Genetically inheritable hip dysphasia as described by the OFA, slipping patella, or elbow dysphasia so severe that they prohibit the puppy from living a normal, active life as a pet or companion.
3. Genetically inheritable sub-valvular aortic stenosis (SAS), so severe that they prohibit the puppy from living a normal life span or active life as a pet and companion.
4. Genetically inheritable hypo or hyperthyroidism so severe that they prohibit the puppy from living a normal life span or active life as a pet and companion.
In the event such hereditary hip, elbow, heart or eye problems as listed above do occur, purchaser must provide written verification from a veterinarian that the dog has been neutered, or disposed of humanely. Purchaser will then be given a replacement puppy. If this dog is bred whether by planned or accident breeding
before having OFA (hips and elbow), CERF (eyes), and cardiac clearances, this guarantee becomes null and void.
The Seller makes no guarantee or warrantees other than specifically described in this contract to include congenital, Genetic or idiopathic defects or abnormalities. Every effort is made by the Seller to produce healthy, responsibly bred puppies.
If the puppy presents with a condition not covered by this contract, the Seller will not be held responsible for any compensation or reimbursement to the Buyer. However, as the Seller stands by the West Coast Golden name and reputation, the Seller may opt to offer compensation on an individual basis.
Buyer agrees to maintain the animal in good health, provide proper training and socialization.
Buyer also agrees that the animal will NOT AT ANYTIME be confined by means of chaining to one's property or allowed to roam un-supervised. In addition, the animal will be protected from extreme natural elements.
The buyer certifies that he/she will be the principal owner and caregiver of the said puppy.
